Ronda, Spain-ISA Excursion!

Ronda's famous bullring. Did you know they used to be squares, but it was dangerous because the bulls would get in the corner and the bull fighter couldn't get at them, so it evolved into a circle!? I learned that in Ronda...

Lisa and Jess-posing with Ronda-the city on a rock.

Me and the new part of the city of Ronda.

Because Ronda was built on top of a rock, they had to build over 300 hundred stairs down to the river to haul up buckets each day!

Ronda-on top of a rock...

Abbey and me on the balcony in Ronda-beautiful countryside behind and below us! This might have been Hemmingway's house, but I kinda missed that little detail! That was probably the only time I wasn't listening to our tour guide because I actually remebered what all of my other pictures were about! I learned a lot mom!

We went to prom in Ronda! Abbey's date is one of the ISA directors! "Guys behind, hand on shoulder, girls hands held in front!"

The newer bridge in Ronda-up until 50 years ago there was a jail in the center of it where you can see the window!

This was the old door into the old part of the city of Ronda. Once you got through this door you had to pay taxes! Also, this road is very important, connecting Granada to the Gibraltar!
