Things I learned while traveling!

1. People in England have all kinds of different accents! Who knew?! The ones in the north are different from those in the south!

2. Destroyed castles are actually very beautiful! Look up Kenilworth castle if you wanna see what I mean!

3. The pound currency sucks! But you can still find good deals, like sweet boots for 20 pounds=$40!

4. Signs in the UK are hilarious...To Let, Give Way, Mind the gap, and Way Out...

5. Irish accents are comical...and Irish folk are super friendly...

6. Packing is tough...don't pack a lot, but pack the essentials

7. Don't buy mixed drinks in the UK...8.50 euro for one! That's about $12!!! Yikes...

8. Pub crawls aren't all about getting drunk...you get to see some really neat pubs and meet Irishmen!

9. The Guinness Factory is huge...and draught is not very tasty...too bitter for me

10. Food is spendy...shop at grocery stores.

11. Fish and chips are amazing in pubs...but spendy...

12. Hostels can be sketchy...but just enjoy them for what they are...cheap...kinda...

13. The people in the US, even in friendly MN, are not as nice as I thought they were...never have I been stopped, asked if I was lost, and then escorted to my desired destination in the states...

14. London is huge...take a city sightseeing double decker bus to fit in all the sights!

15. Enjoy getting lost, delight in detours, try new things, be patient, and EXPLORE!

I probably learned more than that...but I have a bad memory...
